Business Officer - KSCMP Business Team

Role Responsibility

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the KSCMP Business Team for a Business Officer. The Team supports Kent’s statutory Safeguarding Partnership to work together collaboratively to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children who live in Kent.

The Business Officer will be responsible for the effective co-ordination and administration of the KSCMP safeguarding arrangements, to facilitate the smooth running of the Business Team. The postholder will support the child safeguarding practice review process and work alongside the Systems Improvement Manager to meet our statutory obligations in this field. You will also engage and communicate with organisations across the KSCMP arrangements to keep them informed of developments and activities taking place across the Partnership.

We are looking for a dynamic and confident individual who is self-motivated, has experience of working in a multi-agency environment and has a good understanding of the safeguarding arena.

This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service and you must have a relevant professional qualification or comparable professional experience.
