Business Administration Officer
Role Responsibility
We are looking to appoint a new Public Health Business Administration Officer to join our thriving Public Health Business Support Team. This positions will play a vital role in supporting a team of working professionals with their administrative tasks.
This is a great opportunity to support Kent's Public Health department in all matters of administration and to work closely with key Stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of meetings and partnership groups.
This role will predominantly be in place to support the Public Health Transformation Project Manager supporting the Public Health Transformation.
Applicants will need to have experience of completing a range of administration tasks including minute taking and organising large meetings. Applicants must have a professional attitude and strong work ethos.
Kent is a large County with lots of complex Public Health Issues. Applicants will have the ability to manage competing demands and objectives, coupled with diplomacy and political awareness.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
