Blue Badge Assistant Eligibility Assessor
Role Responsibility
We are looking for someone to work with and provide support to our Eligibility Assessors in the Blue Badge team.
The successful applicant will receive training, support and supervision from Blue Badge Eligibility Assessors to carry out an initial proportionate assessment including making contact with applicants to determine eligibility for a Blue Badge. They will also provide the applicant with information and guidance on accessing other social care services or those provided by other agencies.
You will also be expected to assist with re-booking clinic appointments, general administration and record keeping.
You must have good organisational and communication skills and be able to interact positively and effectively with service users, colleagues and professionals. You must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, and also be reliable, flexible and resilient.
This post is based with the Blue Badge Assessment Service in Invicta House, Maidstone.
