Assistant Project Officer (Children & Young People)
Role Responsibility
Active Kent & Medway is one of 43 Active Partnerships in England. We are hosted by Kent County Council and funded by Sport England. Our vision is ‘more people, more active, more often’ and we work with a wide range of partners to help achieve this.
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Project Officer to deliver our objective of supporting schools and community organisations to deliver positive activities for children and young people. The role includes providing information, advice and support to primary schools, including guidance around creating a whole school approach to physical activity.
This post provides an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of working in schools and/or organisations who work with children and young people, delivering projects and with excellent communication and organisational skills.
