Asset Data Officer
Role Responsibility
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Highways Asset Management and Inspections Team as an Asset Data Officer.
This post will play an important role in our delivery of good highway asset management practice across our organisation. It will also support our effective management of our road and footway pavement assets. As a team we deliver hundreds of planned road and footway renewal and preservation schemes, along with associated works each year.
Working in our Asset Management Projects team, the role will provide important support in delivering a wide range of projects and workstreams.
A key element of the role will involve processing and analysing highway asset data and assisting in implementing improvements to the ways in which we collect, store and use this data across the organisation.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
