Archive Digitisation Assistant at The Kent History and Library Centre, Maidstone
The Kent Archives and Local History Service has a vacancy in its small friendly team responsible for photographing historic archival material. The role involves routine handling of unique historical records, and the use of a Phase One digital camera and Capture One software. It requires someone with a methodical, meticulous and patient way of working, able to maintain concentration for long periods and handle fragile documents with care and respect. This is a KR3 post and is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
The hours for the role are 37 per week, worked from Monday through to Friday inclusive.
