Analyst Officer

Role Responsibility

Permanent Full Time, 37 hours per week (Part Time will be considered)

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, skilled and flexible person to join KCC’s strategic analytics function to develop business intelligence to support the commissioning, design and delivery of services. You will be vital to the work of the team in developing and reporting customer-focused analytics on issues and service areas that are a priority to the Council. This includes analysis of complex service data to provide insights into needs, opportunities and options for the services we support.

This post is ideal for an analyst who wants to develop their abilities and use their skills - particularly to support the accurate reporting of service data, but also with opportunities to conduct bespoke analyses to inform the transformation of services and to support the strategic commissioning process.

You will enjoy applying your technical skills in data analysis, performance insights and socio-economic research. The post will suit an experienced, numerate researcher or high-caliber recent graduate with applied experience, who enjoys creating concise, meaningful insights from complexity. Excellent Excel, analytical, report writing, and communication skills are essential.
