Role Responsibility

Strategy, Policy, Relationships and Corporate Assurance Division - Analytics

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, skilled and flexible analyst with a strong technical background and a natural curiosity who is looking to apply their analytical skills to support evidence-based decision making across KCC. You will be vital to the work of the Kent Analytics team in developing and reporting customer-focused analytics on issues and service areas that are a priority to the Council. This includes analysis of complex service data to produce insights into needs, opportunities and options for the services we support.

This post is ideal for an analyst who wants to develop their abilities and use their skills - particularly to inform the transformation of services and to support evidence-based decision making.

You will enjoy applying your technical skills in data analysis and socio-economic research.  The post will suit an experienced, numerate researcher or high-caliber recent graduate with applied experience, who enjoys creating concise, meaningful insights from complexity.  Excellent database, analytical, report writing and communication skills are essential.
