Analyst Manager – Customer Voice (Qualitative)

Role Responsibility

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a dynamic qualitative research expert to join KCC’s central analytics function. In this post you will help to ensure that qualitative insight makes a strong and timely contribution to the evidence-based decision making that is central to the way that KCC develops and improves its services.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary analytics team, you will lead a small team of qualitative specialists. You will enjoy applying your technical skills in a way that impacts service and policy decisions. The post will suit a qualitative research practitioner with applied experience who is equally comfortable working with quantitative specialists on mixed-method projects as on dedicated qualitative work.

You will have a flair for working with clients to scope and lead research projects, be confident in communicating and engaging at all levels, with practical experience of developing, managing and executing qualitative studies in a public sector environment, drawing on range of approaches. You should be flexible in your approach and able to advise clients on appropriate methodologies. You will be able to generate compelling insight using your excellent report writing, presentation and communication skills.
