Adults Purchasing Team Administration Officer

Role Responsibility

Base: Currently working from home with the intention of attending occasional meetings in Invicta House Maidstone in the future.

Hours: Full Time Fixed Term Contract for 12 months

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Adults Purchasing Team on a fixed term contract for 12 months for a motivated person to work as an integral part of the team.

The Adults Purchasing Team is looking to recruit an Administration Officer. You will be required to provide support to the team and will be responsible for allocating referrals and signposting queries as appropriate.

You will be working to support all Adult Social Care, with the main focus on the Learning Disability and Mental Health teams.

You will be computer literate and be able to input information accurately and efficiently on Excel, Mosaic, LAS and on other databases. You will need an excellent telephone manner with the ability to communicate effectively. 

This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
