Administrative Support Officer - Children and Young People Projects

Active Kent & Medway is seeking to appoint a part-time Administrative Support Officer to provide administrative support for our children and young people projects, particularly the Opening School Facilities programme. The role includes creating and maintain accurate records in accordance with data protection and financial regulations. The use of digital applications to collate and analyse information to evaluate projects and create reports as well as experience of delivering a high standard of customer service will be essential to the role.

This post provides an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of providing administrative and digital support in a busy working environment and with the willingness to learn and identify solutions to a range of challenges.   

This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
