Administration Officer

Role Responsibility

Here at the Front Door team for KCC Integrated Children’s Services, we receive and respond to all requests for support at an intensive level or above, ensuring that these are passed on to the most appropriate service for ongoing support and intervention.

We are currently looking for a Part Time, permanent Administration Officer to join our busy and fast-paced team. The working days are Monday, Thursday and Friday.

The Business Support Team provides a comprehensive level of support to Integrated teams of Senior Social Workers, Team Managers and Front Door Officers. We are looking for someone who possesses excellent IT and problem-solving skills and is confident in dealing with professionals and members of the public on the telephone.  You will be required to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information. This is a challenging, varied and exciting role that requires multi-tasking and a good eye for detail whilst working under pressure in a fast-paced office environment.

Interviews will take place the week of 16th November.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
