Administration Officer

Role Responsibility

An opportunity has arisen an Administration Officer within Adult Social Care. 

You will provide comprehensive administration support to the Adult Social Care Team. You will need to be conscientious, flexible, with excellent literacy, numeracy and computer skills and be able to use a range of IT Systems to a high level.

We require good interpersonal skills when communicating with colleagues, other professionals, the public and our service users. You will need to have excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise workload and work to deadlines either on your own or as part of a team.

You will be required to organise Safeguarding, Professional and Business meetings involving a wide variety of staff and agencies. You will have the experience and ability to produce high quality and comprehensive minutes and follow up actions. You will be required to provide support within the Safeguarding process and deal with highly sensitive and confidential information.

Support from team members and regular formal supervision will be provided, as well as training that will support you both professionally and personally.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
