Administration Officer
Role Responsibility
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and committed Administration Officer to join the Canterbury Social Care Mental Health Team. Although based in Canterbury, you may initially be working from home, due to COVID-19 restrictions using IT equipment provided, but there will be a mixture of office/home working subject to business needs and demands. You may be required to travel across the county at different times to attend and assist at meetings.
You will provide comprehensive administration support to the Social Work Team and Team Manager. You will have strong, proven administrative experience and the ability to collate and manage a range of information and data.
You will have good IT skills and a working knowledge of MS Teams, Word and Excel, as well as experience of using Outlook to monitor and deal with email correspondence. You will need to be conscientious, flexible and have good interpersonal skills when communicating with colleagues, other professionals, the public, and our service users. You will need to have excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise workload and work to deadlines either on your own or as part of a team.
You will be required to organise Safeguarding, Professional and Business meetings involving a wide variety of staff and agencies. You will have the ability and experience to produce high quality and comprehensive minutes and follow up actions. You will be required to provide support within the Safeguarding process and deal with highly sensitive and confidential information.
Support from team members and regular formal supervision will be provided as well as training that will support you both professionally and personally
