Administration Officer
Role Responsibility
This is an exciting role for a motivated person working as an integral part of the Occupational Therapy Teams across our Older People and Physical Disability Service. We are looking for an Administration Officer to provide support for a busy team of practitioners within the Adult Social Care directorate.
You will be required to assist in the smooth running of the service and to take a proactive role in relation to the day-to-day functioning of the office.
You will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent. You will undertake a wide range of administrative tasks and have excellent communication skills. You will be computer literate, and be able to develop, maintain and monitor various office systems and processes.
The role requires good teamwork as well as the ability to work independently to meet the needs of the service. Training and formal supervision will be provided.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
