Administration Officer - Mental Health Safeguarding Team
Role Responsibility
We are looking to recruit an Administration Officer to support the Service Manager and Designated Safeguarding Coordinators for Kent Mental Health Safeguarding Team. We are a busy countywide Service and work closely with NHS partners and other external agencies and no two days are the same.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our service. We are looking for an administrator with excellent clerical and organisational skills and require someone who is proactive to support the service and able to prioritise work to meet deadlines. You will need to be flexible and innovative bringing a range of skills and experience to help to support the team. You will be required to produce data and analytical reports therefore it is essential that you have excellent skills of MS Office packages
You will need to have an understanding of efficient administration processes and you will lead on arranging and overseeing Safeguarding meetings which will require proven minute taking skills and experience. You will be required to produce comprehensive transcripts with supporting documentation and follow up on any actions. You will interface with a wide variety of staff both internal and external to KCC.
We offer regular supervision, support and training to develop you within this team. You will be required to work on our Social Care system Mosaic which you will receive full training.
This post is based at Maidstone but currently there is flexibility on home working. Office cover is required Monday to Friday from 9.00am until 17.00pm. The successful candidate must be able to travel on occasions, as meetings and training are held in different sites across the County.
