Administration Officer - Children's Allowance Reviewing Team

Role Responsibility

There is an exciting opportunity to join a small, fast paced and supportive team who are responsible for administering and reviewing allowances for all adopters and Special Guardians in Kent.  We are looking for someone who is quick to learn, has excellent communication skills, is highly organised, able to adapt to new situations and who has an eye for detail.   

In return you will be offered training on the job, supervision and good development opportunities.  The job is based at Westchurch House in Ashford, whilst you will spend some of the week working at home, some office based work is essential to the role. 

Your main duties will be liaising with internal partners, communicating with the public, reviewing financial information, so a good understanding of confidentiality and data protection is essential and making financial calculations.  Good IT skills are essential as you will be operating a range of data systems.  Every day is different and interesting and you will have the opportunity to learn many new skills.
