Administration Officer - Central Referral Unit

Role Responsibility

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Safeguarding Adults Team.

The post-holder will provide administrative support to the multi-agency Central Referral Unit (CRU) and assist in the smooth running of the service.

You will need good organisational and administrative skills to be able to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines. You will need to be an excellent communicator, be confident dealing with issues of a confidential and sensitive nature, assisting our clients, their representatives and other professionals by phone and e-mail.

We are looking for someone who has excellent literacy, numeracy and computer skills, who will create and maintain client records and filing systems, ensuring all appropriate information is captured and accurate. You will arrange and minute meetings, retrieve data, prepare reports and deal with complex queries and simple complaints.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

 This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
