Administration Officer - Ashford and Faversham Community Services

Role Responsibility

We are currently looking for a full time, permanent Administration Officer to join our busy and fast-paced team, within our Ashford and Faversham Community Services. The role will primarily be based within our Ashford Community Service, and will involve some travelling to the Faversham Service as required, to fulfill the needs of the role. 

Our community services support adults with learning disabilities with in-house activities and community-based activities, to both support and develop independence and social skills. We require a resourceful and methodical Administration Officer, to provide support and assist in the smooth running of the service, by taking a proactive role in relation to its day-to-day functioning.

The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams), excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and proactively manage their workload whilst responding to urgent requests and deadlines.

Regular duties include:

- Managing phone calls, referring them to the correct & appropriate person

- Minuting regular team meetings

- Purchasing resources and processing expenses

- Process, maintain and monitor financial records

- Keeping spreadsheets and data up to date

- Being available throughout the day to support the team with any queries or requests

- Maintaining and monitor all office systems, including databases and filing systems, both computerised and manual

Office cover is required Monday to Friday.
