Further to the recent transfer of the Accounts Administration services to Kent County Council, we are recruiting new KR6 Accounts Administration Officers, to work within KCC Finance division. The primary location of the role is Sessions House, Maidstone, with the possibility of office working in Maidstone and home working. The positions are permanent, full time (37 hours per week). We also welcome applications from part-time applicants, willing to work a minimum of 24 hrs a week.
The financial role of our Accounts Administration Officers is varied, with the most important aspect of the role to ensure that a high quality service is provided to both external and internal customers when dealing with accounts administration enquiries (received by telephone, email or letter). This post may require you to work in either the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable or Control Team, so the ability to handle financial data and complete financial reconciliations is required. You will use accounts systems to respond to customer queries. You will be expected to have experience in providing good customer service and resolving financial queries.
