Account Administration Officer
Role Responsibility
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Account Administration Officer within Exchequer Services. We are looking for someone who is financially astute with the ability to manage their workload effectively, dealing with multiple workstreams and priorities, possess excellent IT skills, along with excellent customer service aptitudes. You will need the ability to communicate with a range of people over the telephone and via our customer portal whilst working to deadlines.
The role has the possibility of working across two teams within Exchequer Services, Childrens Payments Team and Accounts Payable
The role involves administering and managing:
- Foster carers payments and mileage claims
- Kent Card payments
- Childrens Direct Payments
- Day Care Payments
- Reclaims and overpayments
- Support with Means Tests
- Processing invoices and payment requests
- Dealing with queries via email and telephone
You will have a good attention to detail, with proficiency in ICT systems (Microsoft applications, databases etc). As a service we use Liberi, Controcc, Oracle, LPS and customer based portal, for which full training will be provided.
We are focused on your drive, potential and aptitude for data and will provide comprehensive induction and training for the right candidate.
The post is full time, and currently hybrid working with a mix of home and office which is based in Invicta House, Maidstone.
